The NC State feature by Alastair Hadden focuses on Dr. Gu’s specific efforts to develop a potential new weapon in the fight against cancer: a nano-sized daisy-shaped drug carrier able to sneak inside cancer cells and release a cocktail of drugs to destroy them from within.
