Stephanie Teeter, lab manager and ten-year veteran of our department, has won an NC State University Award for Excellence! At a ceremony presided over by NC State Chancellor Randy Woodson, Stephanie was given the Award for Excellence in Public Service. Her selfless service record is impeccable: she has logged hundred of hours on community projects, many of which are related to STEM education for children. Stephanie is now eligible to win a Governor’s Award for Excellence, the highest honor that can be awarded to a state employee. She is also BME’s first University-level Excellence Award winner.
