One in blue, one in red. The graduation picture of Tim and David Calhoun, the father-son duo who attended the BME program together, will certainly be a talking point for years to come. David knew he wanted to go down the biomedical path early in life, but it took his father Tim a near-death experience to realize his passion for the subject. Fast-forward a few years, and the duo has now turned their tassels together- even though David was wearing blue, and Tim wearing red. Their story has been so inspiring for the community that local ABC News and NC State University have both run features about their awesome accomplishment.
