62308-LindsayLindsay Sullivan, a Ph.D. Student in Dr. Ted Bateman’s Lab, was awarded a Whitaker International Fellowship to spend a year at the University of Cambridge in the UK for the 2015-2016 Academic Year. Lindsay will be working with Dr. Michelle Oyen on a collaborative project titled “Effects of Ionizing Radiation on the Mechanical Properties and Mineralization of Bone.” The Whitaker Fellowship provides roundtrip travel to host institution, housing and living stipend, health insurance, $10,000 in tuition/bench fees for the host institution, and a $4000 Travel Enhancement Fund which can be used by the Fellow to attend other BME labs and conferences during the fellowship.
