Two BME students were awarded travel awards for the month of October and November. BME awards travel awards monthly to support graduate student travel to present at scientific conferences and to participate in intensive external training courses. Our October awardee was graduate student Judith Rivera, who attended the AIMBE Public Policy Institute for Rising Leaders workshop, held October 29-30 in Washington, DC.
The November awardee is Connor Puett, who will be attending the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA) 104th Scientific Assembly and Annual Meeting from November 25-December 1 in Chicago, IL. Connor will be presenting a talk during a session titled “Digital Breast Tomosynthesis: Screening and Diagnostic Indications.”
