BME graduate students Stephanie Cone, Jasmine Edelstein, and Justin Huckaby have been awarded a 2016 NSF Graduate Research Fellowship. The program is the oldest graduate fellowship of its kind, recognizing outstanding graduate students in science, technology, engineering and mathematics disciplines who are pursuing research-based master’s and doctoral degrees. Only 2,000 fellowships are awarded each year. Fellows benefit from a three-year annual stipend along with an allowance for tuition and fees, opportunities for international research, and the ability to conduct research at any U.S. institution they choose. Congratulations to Stephanie, Jasmine, and Justin for this great accomplishment!
