Dr. Zhen Gu has been selected by the Biomaterials Science Editorial Board to receive the 2018 Biomaterials Science Lectureship award! This award honors a younger scientist who has made a significant contribution to the field of biomaterials science. In addition to the award, Dr. Gu has been invited to present a lecture at the European Conference on Biomaterials in Maastricht, Netherlands, in September. His work will also appear on the cover of a future issue of the journal.
