  • Data Memory Systems has memory.
  • Junkyard Jeff's can supply parts for your old Mac!
  • Lance Timco sells an assortment of Mac parts.
  • MacEasy has cables and parts.
  • MacResQ has used Macs and parts.
  • NexComp has used Macs and parts.
  • Other World Computing has some interesting deals.
  • The PowerBook Guy often has a good price on some PowerBook part.
  • PowerON has used Macs and parts.
  • Sun Remarketing sells refurbished Macs (like the first one I bought) and all parts.
  • Texas Discount Computers has some sweet deals on Macs, parts, and peripherals.
  • I also check All Mac, ComputerTown, DataTech Remarketing, Herb's [Old] Mac Stuff, MacWorks, Mac Worx, MC Computers, MediaGuide, MegaWatts/ MegaMacs, Outpost.com, PowerMax, Que Computers, Refurb Madness, Small Dog Electronics, Sur-Tech, and sometimes AllTech Electronics for nifty specials.

  • DealMac collects info on deals on Macs.
  • Absolute Mac collects prices on Macs. For instance, I love my PowerMac 8600/250.
  • eBay has a changing link to the Mac section.
    There are also many auction sites on the Web, but I like this one.
  • Mac Classifieds
    There are many classified ad sites. At the moment, I like this one.
  • When I have plenty of time, MacSurfer provides an overview of all the many Mac news sites. Or you can try to beat the news with MacOS Rumors.
  • PriceScan and PriceWatch collect prices for your comparison. DealMac has a long list of price trackers.
  • Mac Info
  • Fraser Valley Distributed Computing Systems plans to release an updated driver for Apple DOS cards. This software is now in beta testing!
  • Read TidBITS Issues for more news and reviews.
  • Read comp.sys.mac.digest from a real newsreader.
  • Read MacWorld. You can pick up a lot about Macs from reading MacWorld, which (September 1997) merged with MacUser and MacWEEK (also good ones).
  • Apple Support Information Web Site where you can find things like AppleSpec.
  • AppleFritter is a neat collection of clone info. It's hard to describe.
  • Mac Help
  • MacFixIt is an up-to-date source of info with archives for out-of-date problems and solutions.
  • Mac Support at Mining Co is an interesting source of help info.
  • Mac Shareware
  • UNC Shareware
  • UMich Mac Archive and a slow mirror with search
  • Info-Mac mirror with search
  • Pure Mac has "all the software you really need" in handy categories for quick navigation.
