  • Is it a virus or a hoax? This site is considered complete and up-to-date by people I trust.
  • Another good site to check is CIAC for Internet Hoaxes and Internet Chain Letters. Check before you spread the SPAM! CIAC also has a reference on macro viruses and what to do about them.
  • A huge list of Macintosh vendors
  • SiteLink should have "every link your Mac needs." You can spend a lot of time here, so digitalApple might be a safer place to start.

  • Hard Drive Specs listed in a nice layout (dead or super-slow link?).

  • Griffin Monitor Specs will let you know if that monitor will run on your Mac, and what adapter you might need.
