Apple Clones
APS Technologies makes the
M*Power line of
Macintosh clones.
DayStar Digital, of Mac
accelerator fame, makes the
Genesis MP for high-end graphics use of a multiprocessor workstation.
Motorola designed the Tanzania
motherboard with Apple to accept many PC peripherals as well as Mac.
Most (probably all) Motorola StarMax computers ship with a Motorola 28.8
modem as well. However, be aware that these computers will require a
video adapter, not yet shipping, to use Mac monitors instead of standard
VGA-type monitors.
PIONEER MPC HOME PAGE
Pioneer makes Mac clones, but I could only find a Japanese page on this.
PowerComputing offers the Power line
of Mac compatible computers and you can
check the price of your
dream configuration. All new PowerComputing computers will also
ship with the nifty GUI BeOS from Be.
The POWERtools infiniti GT sport
a fast processor at a good price.
UMax makes the
SuperMac line of Mac clones.
