Yanqi Ye, a BME graduate student working with Dr. Zhen Gu, accepted the Best Paper Award given by the NC State Analytical Instrumentation Facility (AIF) last month at the Joint AIF Symposium. The paper, published in Advanced Materials, is titled “Microneedles integrated with pancreatic cells and synthetic glucose-signal amplifiers for smart insulin delivery” and discusses the use of a microneedle patch that allows for diabetic drug delivery. Way to go, Yanqi!
