BME faculty member Matt Fisher, PhD, has been selected to participate as a Young Investigator in the AAOS/ORS Biologic Treatment of Orthopaedic Injuries (BTOI) research symposium November 5-7, 2015, in Rosemont, Illinois. Dr. Fisher’s abstract, Towards Optimizing New Matrix Organization within 3D Printed Scaffolds for Musculoskeletal Soft Tissue Regeneration, has been accepted as a poster presentation. Dr. Fisher has also been invited to give a 10-minute podium presentation. His presentation will be about Scaffolds and will take place on November 7, during Session V: Cell-Free and Cell-Based Scaffold Strategies for the Repair, Reconstruction and/or Regeneration of Tendon, Ligament, Muscle, and Articular Cartilage Tissues.
