
The final IR receiver device that allows the electrophysiologist to remotely interact with the EP software during medical procedures. The casing was made by rapid prototyping techniques and the receiver features an IR receiver chip (on left) and a receive activity LED (on right). The device connects to the serial port of the EP computer system and is controlled by a normal TV remote control.
