Adam Vandergriff, a BME doctoral student working under Dr. Ke Cheng, has received a Predoctoral Fellowship from the American Heart Association. This fellowship provides two years of doctoral support and will help Adam to further study the relationship between stem cell therapy and cardiovascular diseases. Adam’s outstanding research, coupled with his numerous publications, made him an excellent candidate for the award. His proposed research was so well received that it was marked in the top .01% of all submissions. Congratulations, Adam, and way to go!
